Gary McGuicken is Director of the Geosciences Group at RSK's head office in Helsby, Cheshire. He is responsible for a group of twenty five technical staff involved in all aspects of site investigation, contaminated land assessment and remedial design, implementation and verification. He has specialised in housing development end-use for brownfield sites, including detailed assessment and remedial design of former industrial landfills, collieries, steel and engineering works and gas-works sites. Gary is a geotechnical engineer with some 20 years experience in foundation and infrastructure design work and contamination assessment. He has acted as expert witness in respect to assessment of contaminated land
