Nicola Slade is a writer and consultant with broad experience in ground contamination investigation, assessment and remediation in the UK and overseas. She was formerly with Atkins for 16 years, most latterly as a Section Head.

Nicola is joint author of numerous publications including ten technical guidance documents for the Environment Agency, covering subjects such as the characterisation of contaminated sites and the investigation and remediation of 'special sites'.

Nicola is also a Chartered Water and Environmental Manager and Chartered Environmentalist.
