Mary Harris has over 20 years experience in environmental research and consultancy specialising in contaminated land policy and legislation, design and management of site investigation and risk assessment projects, and third party review. Mary has prepared several good practice guides on the management of contaminated land for bodies such as the former DETR, Defra and the Environment Agency (including co-authorship of Model Procedures for the Management of Land Contamination and the Local Authority Guide to Part IIA). She is an experienced trainer in site characterisation, risk assessment and the Part 2A regime.
