John Waters is European Remediation Director for ERM and has twenty five years experience in environmental assessment and brownfield contracting in UK, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia & US.

John has directed many major remediation projects including an award winning SVE project on the Millennium Dome site and currently a refinery remediation where to date over 250,000 tonnes of soil has been successfully bioremediated.

For six years John was Chair of the Environmental Industries Commission's Contaminated Land Working Group. He continues to serve on its Advisory Council.
