Tom is currently project director for a number of projects involving the remediation of hydrocarbon contaminated soil and groundwater on brownfield sites and landfills. Recent experience includes projects involving chlorinated solvents in the vapour phase, an Environment Agency research project prioritising the trace components of landfill gas, and project direction of the Bristol Arena site feasibility report, site investigation, remediation design and planning application.

Tom has experience covering water resources projects in the Middle East, environmental assessment and remediation of contaminated land, quantitative risk assessments, and oil field environmental impact assessments.
