SiLC has been considering ways in which it can continue to support high standards amongst technical professionals in the brownfield industry. We will be introducing a number of new elements to the Register in the next year. These will include:
Trainee network
We are delighted to announce a new trainee network will be put in place during 2013 for professionals starting off in the land condition industry.
SiLC employer scheme
It is now proposed to develop a SiLC Employer scheme, whereby companies that employ SiLCs may register with and support the SiLC Register.
Fee reduction
The SiLC Register has decided to significantly reduce the rates for attendance at the Introduction Days and to take the exam process, these rates holding firm throughout 2013.
