Detailed description

Robert Lingard is a specialist with 37 years relevant experience ranging from chemical laboratory testing to environmental risk assessment, site investigation and remediation, including some of the most contaminated sites in the country. He has particular expertise in the management of liabilities associated with brownfield acquisition, divestiture and redevelopment and has particular experience in the residential and water industries. Robert has considerable experience in carrying out detailed quantitative risk assessments for human health and controlled waters and has successfully prepared many cost effective remediation strategies. His recent experience covers management of land contamination and remediation of sites requiring development for water and wastewater infrastructure. Robert is also a Qualified Person in relation to the CL:AIRE Definition of Waste: Development Industry Code of Practice. He has used the code, together with quantitative risk assessment and innovative remedial strategies and successful negotiations with Regulators to enable savings to his clients of tens of millions of pounds over the past 12 years alone compared with basic remediation and soil re-use strategies.
