Detailed description

Tony is a chartered civil engineer and Technical Director at WSP UK Limited. He has over 36 years experience in geo-environmental engineering and has extensive knowledge of brownfield assessment and remediation providing pragmatic solutions. He has managed several major projects involving assessment of large site portfolios and has assisted Local Authorities in fulfilling their Part 2A obligations. He has been the author of several technical papers in recent years and regularly presents at national and international conferences. He was awarded the Fleming Award in 2004 for Excellence in Geotechnical Design and Construction. He acted as Chairman of the ICE North West Geotechnical Group (NWGG) in 2009-10. He has also acted as Expert Witness in the High Court on behalf of Local Authorities in relation to brownfield remediation projects.
