Mr Michael Hughes

Michael Hughes is a Senior Project Manager (Contaminated Land) with the Environment Agency's Head Office Contaminated Land Capital Projects Team. This team is responsible for the technical and financial management of the Agency's Contaminated Land Capital Programme and also act as technical advisors to both Defra and the Welsh Assembly Government (WAG). Michael's six years within the Agency have enabled him to gain extensive knowledge and experience in all aspects of contaminated land legislation and regulation. Prior to the Agency, Michael spent several years with a multi-national consultancy where he worked on numerous site investigation and remediation projects for various 'blue-chip' organisations.
