Newly Qualified SiLCs Announced
We are pleased to announce the latest cohort of professionals who have successfully achieved registration as Specialists in Land Condition (SiLCs).
This prestigious qualification recognises individuals who demonstrate a high level of technical competence, practical experience, and professional judgement in the assessment and management of land condition. Qualification as a SiLC is a significant career milestone and a mark of excellence in the brownfield and contaminated land sector.
The Role of a SiLC
The SiLC Register identifies experienced professionals who are capable of providing expert, impartial advice in complex land condition scenarios. SiLCs play a critical role in promoting sustainable land reuse, supporting development, and ensuring land quality is assessed and managed to the highest standards.
SiLC registration also provides a pathway to becoming a Suitably Qualified Person (SQP) under the National Quality Mark Scheme (NQMS), further enabling professionals to support planning and regulatory processes with confidence and credibility.
