Celebrating Our Newest SiLCs: Welcoming the Latest Additions to the Register
The Specialist in Land Condition (SiLC) Register continues to grow with the addition of a new cohort of professionals who have successfully completed the latest SiLC assessment round.
Following a rigorous application, examination and interview process, these individuals have demonstrated the breadth of knowledge, professional judgement and technical competence required to achieve the respected SiLC designation. The SiLC qualification remains the recognised benchmark for land condition professionals, providing confidence to clients, regulators and wider stakeholders that registered practitioners meet the highest professional standards
Achieving SiLC status represents a significant professional milestone and is recognised across the industry as a mark of excellence in land condition practice. The assessment process is designed to showcase a candidate’s experience, technical understanding and professional judgement, while reflecting the broad and multidisciplinary nature of the profession. Although the qualification is highly regarded, it is intended to recognise and support experienced practitioners who are ready to take the next step in their professional development. Each year, candidates from a range of backgrounds successfully achieve registration, demonstrating that becoming a SiLC is both an attainable and rewarding career goal.
The Professional and Technical Panel (PTP) recently reflected on the latest assessment round, noting the commitment and dedication shown by candidates throughout the process. The achievement represents a significant professional milestone and is testament to the hard work invested in developing the knowledge, skills and experience required of a SiLC.
We warmly congratulate all those who have successfully achieved SiLC status in this round and welcome them to the growing community of land condition professionals.
