Hugh, a Chartered engineering geologist with 40 years of professional experience leads a multidisciplinary team involved in the investigation, assessment and remediation of contaminated land. Hugh spent the first ten years of his career on geotechnical aspects of engineering projects in UK and overseas, followed by four years in the Minerals Planning team in the Department of Environment. Hugh is a past Chairman of the AGS having previously chaired the Contaminated Land Group and now chairs the Loss Prevention Group. He is a member of the SiLC Professional and Technical Panel and a registered assessor. Hugh also validates candidates for Chartered status of the Geological Society.
