Mr Potter has over 25 years experience in contaminated land investigation, risk assessment and remediation, landfill licensing, operation and closure / licence surrender. He worked for 8 years with the UK Environment Agency and was the Thames region contaminated land officer. During his time with the EA he was involved in several high profile sites including the Millenium Dome, Woolwich Arsenal remediation and Heathrow Terminal 5. He is experienced in the application and use of Environmental Law and Regulations. He has worked as a consultant since 2001 and has been a project director, manager and team member involved in the investigation and remediation of contaminated land sites and the undertaking of due diligence audits. His recent projects have included the 2012 London Olympics site, Lamma Power Station in Hong Kong and Shouh Min factory, Shenzhen, China. He is currently working as a contractor / consultant for private and public sector clients including Woking Borough Council & London Borough of Ealing (Remediation of Southall gasworks). He has also worked for Elmbridge Council (Waterside drive landfill remediation and redevelopment); Surrey University.
