Frank Westcott is an associate at Ground Consultants Ltd. He is a highly experienced environmental professional with particular expertise in brownfield development, contaminated land assessment and remediation, development planning, environmental compliance, waste management and sustainability. He has worked for over thirty years in civil and environmental consulting, remediation contracting, private sector development, local government and the nuclear industry, developing a unique understanding of the varying environmental issues faced by different industry sectors. He is an accomplished and pragmatic project deliverer and problem solver, and his combined project and technical skills make him a safe pair of hands for implementation of challenging projects. He has completed projects for a range of clients, including major energy, oil and utility companies and the housebuilding sector, in investigation, assessment, remediation and development of brownfield land. His involvement in major brownfield development projects has included the award winning Pride Park project in Derby and several large energy developments and housebuilding schemes. His contributions to the development of the profession include conference and journal papers, and CIRIA, Environment Agency and NICOLE research reports.
