Detailed description
Alex is a contaminated land specialist and contaminant hydrogeologist with over 20 years’ experience working for multidisciplinary engineering consultancies. He has prepared numerous Stage 1 desk study reports and Stage 2/Stage 3 interpretative reports for a wide range of brownfield sites. He has particular experience of carrying out detailed quantitative hydrogeological risk assessment both for brownfield sites and landfill sites using probabilistic models. Alex also has experience in undertaking ground gas risk assessments, in the use of GasSim for landfill as well as soil gas DQRA for development and Part 2A sites. He has a sound knowledge of waste management issues in relation to brownfield development. He was contributed to EIAs for major infrastructure and renewables projects. He is a SoBRA accredited risk assessor for controlled waters and ground gas and an SQP.
