Madeleine is a Chartered Civil Engineer with 27 years’ experience including a PhD. Her experience covers all phases of land quality assessment including desk studies; intrusive investigations; environmental statements; audits; and the selection, implementation and validation of remediation and soil re-use schemes. Madeleine has supported land holders; redevelopers; property transactions; EIAs; waste classification; soil importation / movement; voluntary remediation; implementing Part 2A regulations; and due diligence. Her projects have spanned the public and private sector. She appreciates the need to identify and implement appropriate, practical, safe and cost-effective assessment and remediation strategies to meet the client’s objectives and project constraints. Madeleine is a Certified Member of Association Project Safety (Principal Designer) and member of AGS Health and Safety Working Group. She has a strong knowledge of health and safety within the contaminated land and investigation industry.
