Detailed Description

Paul is a chartered engineer and chartered environmentalist with over 20 years experience in the management of geotechnical and geo-environmental engineering projects including brownfield land redevelopment, major highway schemes, rail schemes, PFI Schemes including hospitals, schools and housing); mine and quarry development, contaminated land reclamation, colliery reclamation schemes, and general site development works. Paul is an Associate Director responsible for the management of a geo-environmental team based in Leeds. Involved in all stages of investigations namely detailed desk-based assessments; design, procurement and supervision of site investigations; factual and interpretative reporting including contaminated land risk assessments, ground improvement schemes, earthworks design, design and preliminary costings of land reclamation schemes; production of remediation strategies; management of reclamation/remediation schemes; and production of verification reports. Has specialist knowledge of ground gas risk assessments and quantitative contamination risk assessments.
