Jay has over 29 years’ experience as an Engineering Geologist and Geoenvironmental Engineer predominantly working in the UK. He is a Chartered Geologist and EurGeol, Chartered Environmentalist and Chartered Waste Manager. Jay is also an experienced asbestos surveyor and consultant with a particular interest in asbestos contaminated land and general asbestos awareness. He also undertakes Radon gas measurement and mitigation consultancy. Jay is Technical Director and Co-owner at GD Pickles Limited geoenvironmental consultants with responsibilities nationwide. He has a wide range of technical and project experience focused on geotechnical engineering and ground investigation, due diligence, brownfield regeneration, quantitative risk assessment and remediation design and supervision. Project experience is broad ranging from small scale housing developments to the geoenvironmental aspects of rail, highways and power generation. Jay has particular interests and expertise in materials and waste management relating to remediation and construction and has been a Qualified Person for the Development Industry Code of Practice (CoP).
