Jonathan is a Chartered Environmentalist with over ten years experience in brownfield assessment and remediation, and an Associate Director of Waterman Energy, Environment and Design. Jonathan provides advice on brownfield sites throughout the development lifecycle from site selection and acquisition, through planning, development and operation, to divestment. John can provide master planning advice and environmental constraints analysis, and has been responsible for project design and management of numerous studies investigating land condition for proposed commercial, industrial, waste management, and residential developments. Jonathan has consulted on former landfill sites, breweries, potteries, power stations, chemical and gasworks sites, dockyards, former MoD land, collieries, major industrial and manufacturing facilities, and large town centre redevelopments. His skills include due diligence auditing, site investigation design, contract management, data interpretation, risk assessment, regulatory negotiation, remediation design and options appraisal, remediation verification, and planning condition discharge/sign off.
